a great range of local ales
From Tribute, a St Austell Brewery favourite throughout the South West to Proper Job, brewed with Cornish spring water, and a blend of imported hops, you’ll find a good selection of local ales on draught. We even have our own ale aptly named ‘The Ship’s Pilot’ which is a must try.
Fancy a pink gin?
Today’s popular pink gin infatuation may seem like the latest gin based trend but did you know that sippers have been enjoying rosy serves for centuries. We have a range of pink (and violet) gins for you to try. Come and ask at our bar for a pink gin cocktail and enjoy the experience.
The luxury Gin collection
Tired of having the same old gin? Sometimes you want to mix it up and break free of the Gordon’s/Beefeater duopoly and sample further wares. Well fortunately, we have some of the best local premium gins from Devon and further afield. Try the oriental spiced Ophir with a ginger ale or the incredible taste of Cotswolds Dry Gin.
With a range of the most popular beers and ciders on tap, you’ll always find something to quench your thirst here at the Ship & Pilot in Ilfracombe. We are one of the only pubs in Ilfracombe to serve the local legendary Cornish Rattler cider. A must try if you’re visiting Devon for the first time.
Whilst we sell house wine by the glass, we also stock a range of luxury wines sold by the bottle which are the perfect pairing to your lunch or dinner. So when you want to push the boat out head to the back of our menu for our range of exquisite luxury wines.
Our cocktails are on offer all day, every day. Our menu features some classics, such as strawberry daiquiri espresso martini and the classic old fashioned. These are available by the glass for £6.95, so why enjoy a tasty cocktail with friends.
We are the only pub around the harbour area of Ilfracombe to be dog friendly indoors and out all year round. So whatever time of the day it is, your more than welcome to bring your pooches. If they’ve been good, they might even get a treat. Woof Woof!
